(views from my window.)i made it to florence and have sporadic internet which makes me so unbelievably happy. I am so thankful. My apartment is tiny and my new roommates and i feel like we're living on top of each other. I was feeling really disappointed that we were paying as much as people with exponentially nicer places until i read: "it is better to be a doorkeeper for the gates of heaven than to dwell in (fine) tents with the wicked. so, i am accepting my little bed as my home and counting it as italian charm.
